Since GLYNT relaunched their current product lineup, product visualization was an important part of the brands visual merchandising. The challenge was to feature the different product lines and to transport the exclusive, healthy and high quality aspects through clean but detailed 3D visualization.

The technical requirements focused on flexibility for the customer. Every high-resolution rendering suits well for online and print purposes. Product labels are exchangeable and the background and ground reflection can be modified through masks, including refraction.

New products can be visualized on shorthand thanks to a highly optimized workflow - starting from the CAD or Poly model, resulting in a color corrected, layered, masked, high resolution outcome.

The same workflow was used for the Graham Hill cosmetics product line.

Shortly after rain hit the windows, the sun comes out again. It generates a special atmosphere in the slightly lit room.

As time for personal projects is limited, I took the chance to do some 3D just for myself.

The furniture: sofa, ceiling lamp and some props I took from a library and fit textures and shaders to my needs. The Rams shelf, carpet, tables, Geneva stereo, other props and the room I modeled myself.

The background comes from cgtextures. This project was not about to just place furniture into an empty room. My focus was mainly to achieve this atmosphere of "starting something" - generating an inspirational picture.

StrAngel is a stereoscopic short film production. This was officially one of my first big projects as a 3D Artist. For more than one year I was working on several tasks with a lot of creative freedom.

I was deeply involved in the lookdev and set-design. Except for one, I was modeling and researching all other sets and a lot of props.

The short film was rendered in the VRay for Maya Beta plugin. This involved a lot of research. Next to this I was involved in set, prop and character shading.

- R&D and Lookdev
- Set design and research
- Prop modeling: High/low poly
- Prop and set shading
- Set modeling: High/low poly
- Character design and modeling of the mouse
